Eunha Kristen Park, PT, DPT

My name is E. Kristen Park and I am the director at Hilltop Physical Therapy, Inc. I am a licensed PT, DPT, with over 33 years of PT experience. I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1986 with a BS in Physical Therapy, and I later earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 2017. I have a certificate degree in early child testing from the University of Illinois in 1988 and a dry needling certification in 2010.

I started my PT career in Chicago at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in a rotation system in the Trauma Center, Spinal Cord Unit, Stroke Unit, Nursing home setting, Outpatient PT clinic, TMJ clinic, and Women’s Health Clinic. I started their Neonatal Center, providing physical therapy and pediatric services to the Cerebral Palsy Schools in Chicago.

I worked at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts, in the outpatient clinic, chronic pain center, work hardening centers, and rehab centers, working amongst 120 rehab professionals.

I have been at Hilltop Physical Therapy for over 25 years now. I specialize in spine pain, Women’s Health, TMJ, Pediatrics, and many nerve-related problems, and all types of orthopedic cases.

I am also a clinical instructor to doctoral level therapists and I train our therapists on a monthly or as-needed basis. Over the years I have attended numerous courses including Strain-Counterstrain, Muscle Energy, Mulligan, Functional Mobilization, Sacral Mobilizations, and various manipulation courses for the spine and extremities. I have also attended PNF and Nerve courses, and those for treating craniofacial, neck, back, extremities, gait courses, pediatric courses, myofascial release, myofascial mapping courses, visceral mobilizations, and various others. In 2020, I was able to provide TMJ training internationally to therapists in Korea. I also wrote a chapter of a Korean book on medical documentation, along with other Korean PT professors. For the past two years, I have been passionately working on writing a book on Women’s Health. I hope to get it printed this year.

I thrive on working with complex patients and follow through to their full recovery.

I have four loving children and a husband. I like to paint, sing, and make flower arrangements. I also love to play soccer and volleyball for fun.
